      No photo description available.
For our FINAL week of art, you need to create artwork that embodies SUMMER!

This could be going outside and doing side walk chalk, creating a bubble wand machine, making homemade popsicles, drawing a picture of a big ray of sunshine, the skies the limit!

Once completed please send an email to Miss Hector (jhector@vbschools.net) either showing a picture of your artwork or a description telling me what you created.

        Week 7: Emotions

        Week of April 27

Art assignment for Kingergarten through Fifth Grade

For this week’s assignment, students are being asked to talk about their emotions and how they are feeling with an adult; preferably a parent or Garudian. Students need to reflect on their emotions specifically towards not being about to return to school to finish out the reaminder of the year. Since this assignment is dealing with our emotions and how we feel, students DO NOT have to turn anything in. If you would like students can send me an email saying who they talked with about how they felt, but it is not necessary.

Typically our art assignments are geared towards the creation of something. However part of being an artist is looking at fellow artists’ work and interpreting how that artwork makes us feel. I know right now life is chaotic. There are so many unknowns and I think it is very important that we take the time to step back, look around at what is happening and communicate how we feel.

As always if you have any questions feel free to reach out to me!
