Objective: Students will show their understanding of indirect characterization, tone, and mood by completing an assessment cover Chapters 7-9.
Standards: RL.3, RL.4
NOTE: Students completing the vocabulary workbook should be working on Lesson Eight this week (week two of two).
1. Students should take a couple minutes and review their indirect characterization, tone, and mood resources.
2. Students will complete the RL.3 and RL.4 assessment on Otus.
3. Students who finish before the end of the period should continue reading, annotating, and identifying unfamiliar vocabulary in TKaM.
FOLLOW-UP: Students can continue reading, annotating, and identifying unfamiliar vocabulary. We will be reading Chapter 10 together as it is a key chapter which allows us to get to know Atticus even better.
